Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of ByoMap (byomap.com) operated by ByoMap Health (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By creating an account or using our services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Not Medical Advice

ByoMap is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnoses, or treatment recommendations. All scores, ranges, insights, and AI-generated responses are for informational and educational purposes only.

The health scores, biological age estimates, and personalized ranges provided by ByoMap are based on published research but are not a substitute for professional medical advice. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider before making health decisions based on any information from ByoMap.

The AI Chat feature uses artificial intelligence to analyze your data. AI responses may contain errors or inaccuracies. Do not rely on AI-generated content for medical decisions.

2. Eligibility

• •You must be at least 16 years of age to use ByoMap
• •You must provide accurate and complete registration information
• •You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
• •One person per account — accounts may not be shared

3. Your Data

You own your data. All health information you upload to ByoMap remains your property. We do not claim ownership of your biomarker results, DNA data, gut microbiome data, or any other health information you provide.

You grant us a limited license to process your data solely for the purpose of providing the ByoMap service to you — calculating scores, generating insights, and powering AI analysis. This license terminates when you delete your account.

You are responsible for the accuracy of data you upload. ByoMap processes the data you provide; incorrect input will produce incorrect results.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• •Upload data belonging to other people without their consent
• •Use ByoMap to provide medical advice or clinical services to others
• •Attempt to access other users' data or accounts
• •Use automated tools to scrape or extract data from the service
• •Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code
• •Use the service for any illegal purpose
• •Interfere with the service's operation or security

5. Subscriptions & Billing

ByoMap offers a free tier and a paid Pro subscription. By subscribing to Pro, you agree to:

• •Pay the applicable fees (monthly or annual, as selected)
• •Automatic renewal at the end of each billing period unless cancelled
• •Prices may change with 30 days' notice before your next billing cycle

Open Beta

During the open beta period, all Pro features are available to every user at no cost. No credit card is required. When paid plans are introduced, your account and data remain intact. You will be notified before any pricing changes take effect.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from Settings. Your Pro access continues until the end of the current billing period. After cancellation, your account reverts to the free plan. All your data is preserved.

Refunds

We offer a 30-day refund policy from the date of your first payment. If ByoMap doesn't meet your expectations, email us at hello@byomap.com and we'll process a full refund — no questions asked. Refunds after 30 days are at our discretion.

6. Service Availability

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance, updates, or experience outages. We are not liable for any losses resulting from service unavailability.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service with reasonable notice. If we discontinue the service entirely, we will provide at least 90 days' notice and a way to export all your data.

7. Intellectual Property

ByoMap's software, design, branding, and content (excluding your data) are owned by ByoMap Health. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from our service without permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ByoMap Health shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

• •Health decisions made based on ByoMap data, scores, or AI responses
• •Errors or inaccuracies in data processing, scoring, or AI analysis
• •Loss of data due to service issues (we maintain backups but cannot guarantee zero data loss)
• •Service interruptions or unavailability

Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ByoMap Health from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately. We will delete your data per our Privacy Policy retention schedule.

11. Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to the courts of New Delhi, India.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notice at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
